Betty Addison

Laura W. “Betty” Addison passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Betty was born December 23, 1925 in Huntington, West Virginia to Waldo and Alma Weik. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a proud alumnus of Miami University, Ohio, graduating with honors Phi Beta Kappa. She married William G. Addison in 1948, and they shared a wonderful life together for 48 years until William’s passing in 1996. Together they raised two children, Roger and Carol, while moving from Orange, NJ to Pittsburgh, PA to Glendale, CA, and settling in OKC. A resident of Yukon, OK at the end, Betty’s passions were raising her family, reading, and playing bridge. She was preceded in death by her beloved Bill, and is survived by son Roger Addison and wife Susan, daughter Carol Still and husband Vic, and grandsons Eric Still and Peter Addison. Private memorial service will be held for the family.
