

Bill Joe Trueblood, 78, went home to be with his Savior on November 1, 2016, after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Bill was born on August 1, 1938 in Tulsa, OK to Charles Everett and Josephine Myrtle (Martin) Trueblood.
Bill loved his family very much. He was a father figure to everyone, was very generous, and never said anything bad about anyone. Bill was a joking person and loved embarrassing you whenever he could. His grandchildren even called him “Silly Billy”. In his early years, he trained and hunted with bird dogs and worked as an oil field electrician. Bill was a member of the Generation Church in Shawnee.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sherry Easley; sisters, Phyllis Scalf and Carol Richardson; and step-son, Darrin Whitney. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Robbie Trueblood; children, Terry Trueblood, Troy Trueblood and wife Darla, Shannon Trueblood-Calhoun, step-son, Rick Whitney and wife, Tammy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family would like to thank Valir Hospice Team for their loving care. A viewing will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
