

Billie was born in Woodville, Oklahoma on February 11, 1912 to George Skipworth Henry and Emma Cook Henry. She graduated from Woodville High School and Hills Business University in Oklahoma City. Billie married Bert John Nordstrom on August 24, 1935 and they lived their lives together in her beloved Oklahoma. Together they raised two daughters who were the light of their lives. When their daughters were grown, Billie began her career in the Abstract business. During her lifetime and especially after her retirement from American First Abstract Company in Norman, she and her husband Bert were involved in many service organizations. They were also charter members of May Avenue Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Billie lovingly served her family throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bert, her brother Samuel Wright Henry, her sisters, Homa Van Meter, Okla Caylor, Mona Jim Fuller, Inez Burns and her grandson Craig Christiansen. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Harrison and her husband Bill of Whitewright, Texas and Linda Hopper and her husband Randy of Allen, Texas, her grandchildren Steve and Terri Mason of Oklahoma City; Dean and Tammy Harrison of Yukon, Oklahoma; Danny and Kim Harrison of Waxahachie, Texas; Brad and Hayley Jordan of Sherman, Texas; David and Lori Pierce of Tyler, Texas and Austin Walker of Allen, Texas. She is also survived by many great grand children as well as two great great grandchildren, family and friends. Billie loved her role as Aunt Bill and had very special relationships with her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the May Avenue Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:00am at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City under the direction of Hahn- Cook/ Street & Draper Funeral Directors. Pallbearers are Bill Harrison, Randy Hopper, Dean Harrison, Danny Harrison, Steve Mason, Brad Jordan, David Pierce and Austin Walker. Reverend Larry Gaston of May Avenue Methodist Church will preside over the celebration of the life of our beloved Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and friend
