Bradley Thomas Dunford

He was born in Oklahoma City to David and Elaine Dunford. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dunford, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Williams, and father David T. Dunford.

Brad is survived by his spouse and partner of 31 years, Rick Moore of San Antonio; mother Elaine Dunford-Carter of San Antonio; his brother and spouse in Yukon, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews in the OKC area; his Aunt Mary Williams-Blanton of Wichita Falls, TX; five cousins; and other extraordinary, close friends who have impacted Brad’s life.

He was reared in Ardmore and Norman, Oklahoma and graduated from Norman High School. He also attended East Central State University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Brad begin his career in clothing and fashion. He acted as the operations and store manager for Rothschild’s Department stores in Oklahoma City for 18 years. As Operations Manager, he developed special and lasting relationships with the regular patrons and employees of the stores. Following his career at Rothschild’s, he opened the Pendleton Store at 50 Penn Place in Oklahoma City and also opened the Pendleton Store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also acted as the Pendleton store manager and buyer in Oklahoma City.

When he relocated to San Antonio in 2001, he started and operated a special events venue until his retirement in 2011.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper with services at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018.
