

Bruce was born August 8, 1930 in Amber, Oklahoma to Andrew Jackson and Vera Buena (Gibson) Simpson. He passed away July 16, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma. Bruce went on to work in welding, pipefitting, and plumbing. He worked primarily in commercial construction sites. Bruce also taught the trade at Purdue University. He was a longtime member of the local plumbers and pipefitters union. Bruce enjoyed his work and took great pride in his skills. His favorite hobby was going fishing. He married his love, Nancy, in 2000. They were inseparable and he was crazy about her. Family was very important to Bruce.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Manske-Simpson; son, Ronnie and wife Gail Simpson; step-son, Eric and wife Karen Manske; step-daughter, Linda Constantino; step-daughter, Ellen and husband Brian Larson; grandchildren: Chad, Kelly, Matthew, Megann, Carolyn, Ashley, Eric, and Christina; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Jenny, Elizabeth, Sebastian, and Christian; many great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and his brother, Grady and wife Maxine Simpson. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Vera; and his brother, Jack Simpson.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 10:00A.M. until 8:00P.M. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141. A graveside service will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma 73141.
