

Burke (Stoney) L. Daily,71, of Harrah, OK. passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. He was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma on June 22, 1943 to Allen Baker Daily and Hazel Grace Irene (Bayliff) Daily. He graduated high school in 1961 from Darrouzett, Texas. During his 50+ years as a truck driver, he traveled and resided in many places including the following Oklahoma towns: Slapout, Woodward, Laverne, Waukomis, Mcloud and Harrah; as well as Wyoming and Texas.
Burke accepted Christ in his later years and made it a point that his great-grandchildren had bibles to encourage their walk with the Lord. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren could always count on receiving a card and phone call on their birthdays no matter where he was. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and was involved in Sunday school and various church functions. He enjoyed watching television, drawing, and doing word searches.
Burke was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Hazel, and his brother Keith A. Daily.
He is survived by his three daughters, who brought him much joy: Lora Chastain and her husband Tim, of Mcloud, OK. Lana Mack and her husband David, of Middleburg, FL. and Lesli Busch and her husband Darin, of Enid, OK. Four granddaughters, Tanya Nash and her husband Chris, of Shawnee, OK. Samantha Lewis and her husband Cody, of Meeker, OK. Sidnee Mack of Middleburg, FL. and Caitlin Busch of Enid, OK., five grandsons, Trenton Chastain & Sunshine Sikes of Harrah, OK. Ryan Mack and his wife Rachael of Middleburg, FL. John C. Lytle & his wife Manuela, of Woodward, OK. Shelby Mack of Middleburg, FL. and Carter Busch of Enid, OK. Burke was blessed with eleven great-grandchildren Jaylynn, Jacee, Jarah & Cavin Nash of Shawnee, OK. Nate and Alexis Sikes of Harrah, OK. Drayden Lewis of Meeker, OK. Dennis and Celine Schenkel of Freisen, Germany and Mackenna & Elena Mack of Middleburg, FL. along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be Monday, September 1, 2014 from noon until 8:00pm and Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 8:00am until 8:00pm at Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home in Midwest City. Funeral services for Burke will be held at Hillside Baptist Church, Mcloud, OK. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 beginning at 9am. Burial will follow at Kiowa Cemetery in Beaver County, Oklahoma at 2:30pm.
