Calvin Bernard Trimble ("KT") was born on June 21, 1964, to Sinetta Jones Trimble and Roosevelt Trimble in Los Angeles, California. He was the youngest of three children, with two older sisters, Patricia and Diane. Calvin grew up in Watts and Compton, California, alongside his two sisters and his aunt, Debra Moss, who came to live with them when she was 9 years old. They were all raised by his mother, sisters, and brother.
When Calvin’s mother married Willie L. Farley, Sr. in 1984, he gained four additional siblings: Carl, David, Melinda, and Willie L. Farley, Jr. Calvin loved all of his siblings and his new father. Although they did not live with him, they shared many family gatherings and even attended some of the same schools.
In 1970, Calvin’s mother, sisters, and Aunt Debra moved to Compton, California. As a single parent, his mother purchased a home for them in 1972. Calvin attended elementary school in Los Angeles (Watts) at 102nd Street Elementary, and in Compton, he attended Roosevelt Elementary, Whaley Middle School, and Dominguez High School. At 17, he left California to live with his great-grandmother, Susana Jones, in order to finish high school at Reuben McCall High School.
Calvin returned to Compton and reunited with his mother. He met Natasha Ashley in 1982, and they had a daughter, Ashley S. Trimble.
In 1994, Calvin moved to Oklahoma City, where he met Misty Cartwright. From this relationship, Korina N. Trimble was born.
Calvin continued to live in Oklahoma City until his passing on December 16, 2024. He enjoyed watching sports, particularly the 49ers football team. He also enjoyed dancing, shooting pool, fishing, listening to music, joking, barbecuing, and being the life of family gatherings. Although he did not regularly attend church, he often shared his relationship with the Holy Spirit and his faith with his mother. He prayed daily and often shared the Word of God with his family. Calvin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during his young adulthood and was briefly a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
On June 20, 2013, Calvin met Rhonda Brooks of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and they began a life together that lasted for 11 years. They enjoyed cooking and listening to music together.
Calvin will truly be missed by all, and his memory will be cherished by his companion of 11 years, Rhonda Brooks; mother, Sinetta Trimble Farley (East Rancho Dominguez/Compton); daughters, Ashley S.
