Carmen Lidia Ortiz went to be with the lord on July 19th, 2021. Carmen was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, to Angel and Paula Bermudez on November 17, 1951. Carmen is a part of a large loving family whom were the light of her life. She had a passion for dancing and had a passion for music. With a large family, it is always a plus to have such a great cook. Carmen loved cooking especially with her family. She will be missed dearly.
Carmen is survived by her husband of 47 years, Fernando Ortiz, sons Erik (Trisha) and Derrick Ortiz, and daughter Erica Cothran (Stefano) of Eglin Air force base, Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the light of the family and we will miss her terribly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
