Carrie Jean Richardson

Carrie "Jean" Richardson, 82 of Choctaw, OK died at home on February 11, 2026. Carrie was born September 16, 1943, in Ray City, Georgia. She is the daughter of Dewey & Julie Francis (Taylor) Tanner. Carrie met the love of her life Harold Richardson in 1959, when Harold was stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia and have been married 66 years. They are the proud parents of Mickey and wife Brooke, Larry, Jimmy and wife Cindy.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Tanner and Julie Francis (Taylor) Tanner, her sister Mildred Lawson, brother Sidney Tanner, and brother "W. D" Williams Tanner, and granddaughter Lisa Marie. She is survived by her husband Harold Richardson, son Mickey Richardson and wife Brooke, son Larry Richardson, and son Jimmy Richardson and wife Cindy; grandkids Jaime and husband Michael, Amber and wife Christina, Josh and wife Angel, Jimmy Craig, Jennifer, Brett, Jay and wife Amber, Matthew and wife Cassie, Devin, and Kya; 14 great grandkids, 3 great-great grandkids and sister, Joy Browning, and numerous family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, located at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, on February 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on February 19, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, located at 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, on February 19, 2026.
