

Catherine Elizabeth Wilson was born in Govan Saskatchewan, Canada, June 27, 1927 to Kate Augusta and Alexander William Gunn, and passed away October 19, 2015 at the age of 88. She received a Bachelor of Arts in 1948 from University of Saskatchewan and worked for Bowman Brothers in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. In 1956 moving to Calgary Alberta to work for Western Decalta, joining Desk & Derrick of which she became president. On a D&D trip to Montana she met Roy L. Wilson whom she married on Dec 26, 1964 in Calgary Alberta. They settled in Midwest City where from 1972 she was active in the First Presbyterian Church and in 1992 ordained an elder. Active in Women’s Circle, Create-to-share, Keen-Agers, Appalachian Infant Mission and many aspects of church life. A talented painter and longtime member of Midwest City Art Guild who loved totravel: Alaska, Scotland, and Canada visiting family and friends. She worked for H&R Block and many charities. She was predeceased by her mother (1969), her father (1976), and sister Marjorie (2000). She is survived by son Douglas and nephew Donald. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Red Cross or the First Presbyterian Church of Midwest City. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home with interment following at Arlington Memory Gardens.
