Charles Michael Blessington was born on August 13, 2003 with an unbelievable head of hair. Named after his great grandpa Charlie, he was an active, energetic, and inquisitive child. He loved to go outside, and said that word as a complete sentence early and often, with different inflections for different meanings.
Charlie was never a very cuddly person, but he was sweet and thoughtful. He was unusually good at seeing other people's side of things, and considering their feelings. He had developed into a smart and insightful young man who enjoyed discussing and debating issues and ideas.
Charlie enjoyed his family. He was very close to his cousins Blake and Jackson Blessington and Dakota and Samantha Smith. He had an uncanny amount of patience for the younger children in his life, especially Samantha and Graham and Griffin Hershberger.
Charlie passed away on December 16, 2020 and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that a donation be made to the Charlie Blessington Memorial Scholarship Fund in lieu of flowers.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 1-3 at the home of Chris Blessington.
