

Christopher Roberts Kelly, 55, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025 from health complications. The family held a private service at Hahn-Cook in /Street & Draper in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Chris was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on January 17, 1970. He moved with his family to Oklahoma City in 1974.
He attended Casady High School in Oklahoma City, where was a “lifer”of the school. He graduated from Casady in 1988.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University in 1992 and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
Chris later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1995, then the DePaul University College of Law, where he earned a Master of Laws, in Health & Hospital Law in 1996.
As an avid and talented golfer, Chris played golf around the globe, but particularly enjoyed playing golf with his friends and family at Castle Pines Golf Club, Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club, and Hillwood Country Club.
A self-proclaimed sports junkie, Chris was armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things sports, Chris reveled in his stints as the “voice” of TCU Football and Oklahoma City University’s Women’s Basketball. Chris often said he had the voice (and the face) for radio.
As a young man Chris was actively involved with Boy Scouts of America. He earned the organization’s highest rank of Eagle Scout. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
Chris is survived by his children John Major Kelly, Cannon Kelly, and Lily Kate Kelly; his brother Brad Kelly; his sister Susan Lynn Killburn and her husband, Steve. He was preceded in death by his parents Mike & Lynn Kelly.
