October 27, 1992 - July 6, 2016
St. Louis, Missouri - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
A beloved son, brother, friend and teammate, Connor had his life cut short on July 6, 2016 at the age of 23 years. Connor was a “Lifer” at Casady School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011. There he was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball and baseball, playing 3rd base and catcher, and was Captain of the football team starting at center and deep snapper for three consecutive years. He was also an accomplished bassist in the Casady orchestra.
Connor was then invited to Vanderbilt University as a walk-on deep snapper participating with the team during their three most prolific years, attending three straight bowl games. He was also an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, following in his father’s footsteps. Connor graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and was a two-time SEC Honor Roll member. He was relentless in his pursuit of academic achievement and he genuinely loved all sports. Connor was the type of guy that would rather watch ESPN, no matter the sport from hot dog eating contests to football, than any other TV program.
Upon college graduation, Connor was accepted into the OU College of Medicine where he completed his first year in the top 25% of his class.
Connor is survived by his parents Astrid and Mike Morrison of Oklahoma City, brother Alec Morrison of Oklahoma City, and his grandparents Barbara Morrison and Sylvia & Richard Bottomley of Oklahoma City. Connor also has multiple surviving aunts, uncles and cousins across the country.
Visitation will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors on Monday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
