

Danna was born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Richard and Betty McGarvey (Hornberger). She went to Bryland Beauty School after high school and continued to complete the instructor’s course. She graduated from Oscar Rose Jr. College and Central State University, being part of Phi Theta Kappa.
She worked as a beautician and cosmetology instructor for many years.
Growing up she was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Denver, Penn. She was the goalie in field hockey at Cocalico High School, she also played the accordion, the Harp, and the Organ. Her most recent hobbies included painting and card making. She was involved with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts when her children were young. She will be remembered for her kindness and her joy in life.
Danna is survived by daughter, Mariann Brown and Son, Samuel Roberts Brown; her grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth and Jacob Samuel-Ryan Brown; her great-aunt, Caryll Lausch; brother, David Craig McGarvey and wife, Kathy, and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Harry and Betty Mae McGarvey; companion, Michael Steven Kase; grandparents, Samuel Neatock Hornberger and Nora Clemintine Hahn (Ream); son-in-law, Jerrald Brown; and grandchild, Baby Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159, on December 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
