Dieudonne Yiryele Kpiele Poda, 32, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. He was born August 23, 1988 to Denise Some Poda and Sylvestre Some in Burkina Faso. Upon completion of school in New York, he has his own business serving the public doing medical transport. On March 19, 2014, he was blessed with a daughter named Serenity Kpiele Poda and 3 years later on July 16, 2017, had a son named Sage Kpiele Poda.
Those who knew Dieudonne, even just a little lost a shining light in their lives. He was highly accomplished, and extremely driven in his line of work. He loves to play soccer, spend time with family and friends. He is known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart.
Dieudonne will be missed everyday by his mother/father: Denise Some Poda and Sylvestre Some. Brothers/sisters: Hermann Some married to Amelie Some, Serge Arnaud Kpiele Poda married to Kresha Rogers, Dimitri Kpiele Poda married to Gloria Kabore, and Nadege Hien married to John Messanh, Eric Hien, Serge Hien, and Cedric Nikiema. Cousins: Abbe Thomas and Abbe Augustin. Uncle Julien Somda married to Sarah Somda. Nieces/Nephews: Darius Some, Axel Some, Keith Some, Hannielle Kpiele Poda, Roman Kpiele Poda, Easton Kpiele Poda, Wesley Messanh.
There were many wonderful aspects to Dieudonne’s life, and many ways that he touched our lives. He will be remembered as a wonderful father, a magnificent brother, a great friend, soccer player, a generous uncle and cousin. The gift of Dieudonne life is still here with us. He lives on in our memories and stories, and in what all of us have become because of him. Although many will miss Dieudonne, we will never forget the love we all shared as a family.
