Donna Mae Snider left to join her Lord and Savior and numerous family members and friends on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Donna was born on June 10,1931 in Oklahoma City and lived her entire life in south OKC.
Donna attended Capitol Hill High School and married James W Snider on July 14, 1951. Donna and Jim shared 70 wonderful years together and lived a life full of love and laughter.
They had one son, James W. Snider II (Jimmy) and in 1962 Donna and Jim were among a small group of people that started Southern Hills Baptist Church. Donna sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for decades and retired from the Social Security Administration after many years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents D.B. and Helen Hoskins and her brother Keith Hoskins. She is survived by husband Jim Snider, son Jimmy Snider and wife Joyce along with many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
To know Donna was to know her beautiful heart, infectious laughter, and the light of the Lord within her. She will be missed by all that had the blessing of knowing her.
Memorial services will be held October 5th at 10 am at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 South Penn Oklahoma City, OK.
