Donny Lee Wilkerson

Donny Lee Wilkerson, age 81 of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on October 16, 2025 at his home in South Oklahoma City. He was born on September 29th, 1944 in Pauls Valley, OK to Raymond and Lucille Wilkerson (McEuen). Don has long career working in the building materials sales business reaching the position of general manager for the Oklahoma City locations for ABC Supply but his true success did not come until he struck out on his own and started City Drywall with his partner Jimmy Hughes. After this initial success he moved on to open multiple businesses with each one being more successful than the last. Don’s preferred past time was playing golf. Don’s strength of faith and commitment to family is not likely to be matched. Don will be remembered as a caring, compassionate man who proved you can be successful and still help people along the way.

Don is survived by his spouse Maurita Wilkerson, son Shannon Wilkerson and his spouse Angie Wilkerson, and Grandchildren Warren Wilkerson and Benjamin Wilkerson. He is also survived by Maurita’s children, Flint McGuire and Casey McGuire, and her children Tanzghi Boyiddle and her husband, and their 3 children and Harlan McGuire and his spouse Rachel. Don is survived by his brother Walter Wilkerson and his wife Doris, and their daughter Vicki and her husband Sam. Don is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Lucille.

There will be a memorial services at 10am on November 1st at Draper Park Christian Church (8500 S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).

There will be a celebration of life from Noon to 3pm, November 1st at Hidden Trails Golf and Country Club (6501 S Country Club Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73159)
