

Edwin Keith Upton passed at home surrounded by loved ones. He led a full and loving life. Rather you were family or friend, he always had a smile for you. Ed was a quiet man with a slow walk. Never in a hurry but with a mission. His love for his fellow man showed in the countless time and labor he gave to anyone that asked.
Born in Oklahoma City and remained here. He graduated from South East High School then served 2 tours in the Army as a heavy equipment operator. Then on to be an electrician inspector for 12 years. He was a very good carpenter and loved making many things. His son, Jimmy and Ed worked side by side for many years.
He married Mickie Richsatter and with that union two sons were born, Jimmy and David.
In 1990, he asked Cheryl ( Skibinski) to be his wife. They married July 7, 1997 and gained five children that he loved and always treated as his own. Later adopting a granddaughter. He not only loved but showed each one how much they meant to him. He treasured his time with family. He will be greatly missed by all that had the fortune to cross his path.
He was preceded in death by sons, Jimmy and David Upton ; parents, Joe and Anna Mae Upton; daughter, Kristina Stouder ; one grandson; and sister, JoAnn Upton and Tommie Evans.
He leaves behind his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Ramona (Mike) Santee, Shannon (Steve) Tilley, Danelle Hernandez, Monica Upton, and son Raymond Maixiver, 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren , nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends
