Elaine Meryl (Goldberg) Robinson

Elaine Meryl Goldberg Robinson passed away peacefully October 14, 2018. Elaine was born July 27, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Benjamin and Fannie Goldberg. Fannie passed away when Elaine was 3 years old, but was nourished by a large supportive family structure. After graduating from SMU, she met the love of her life, Charles and they remained married for 52 years. Her interests included bridge, tennis, travel, Jewish organizations and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her doting brother Herbert, her beloved Charles and her beautiful daughter Susan Robinson. Survivors include her son Michael and wife Diana Robinson, daughter Valerie Robinson and husband John Hill, grandchildren Jonathan and Delaney Robinson, nieces Sharon Cohen, Sherry Barton and nephews Richard Robinson, Marshall, Robert and Miles Goldberg, sister-in-law Rita Goldberg and cousins Marilyn Sweet, Sam Rude and Sam Ablon. Funeral Services will be held at Temple B’nai Israel, 4901 North Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 17th at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Temple B’nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City, Temple B’nai Israel, Emanuel Synagogue or Chabad Community Center for Jewish Life and Learning.
