Eleanor “Ellie” Rhea Martin was born on July 7th, 2021 at 11:01 am. She passed on to her heavenly home at 12:03 pm the same day. Although her time on earth was brief, she touched countless lives. She will continue to do so through the people who love and remember her. Her parents couldn’t be more proud of their sweet Ellie girl.
Survivors include parents P.J. and Lindsay Martin and big sister Charley of Edmond, OK; Grandparents Charles and Laura Eckert of Choctaw, OK; Grandparents Ray and Phyllis Martin of Clinton, OK; Uncle Clayton Eckert and wife Summer of Norman, OK; Uncle Jeff King and wife Jeanna, and cousins Jocelyn and Jeter of Clinton, OK.
In lieu of flowers, a fund in Ellie’s name is being created at Lakeside Women’s Hospital to support families of infant loss. In the interim, donations can be made to the Church of Christ at Oakdale, with “Ellie Martin Fund” in the memo line. Those donations will be transferred to the hospital fund when it is fully established.
