Eleanor Louise Salyer Morrison passed away September 26, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born November 10, 1927 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Sandford and Maud Salyer. She grew up in Norman and graduated Norman High School in 1944. Eleanor attended Drury College, Springfield, MO for one year before graduating The University of Oklahoma in 1948 with a degree in German. She married Bruce F. Morrison, August 28, 1948. She worked as a cataloger at Harvard University Library from 1948 to 1952. She and Bruce returned to Oklahoma City in 1952 and she worked part-time at the Oklahoma City Library in the Order Department. Eleanor was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta. She is survived by her sons Geoffrey Bruce Morrison, Alan Sandford Morrison, Philip Webb Morrison and her grandson Mitchell Herron Morrison. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in the chapel at All Souls’ Episcopal Church.
