Emma Albina Thomas

Emma A. Thomas (Anna), 101, died at home on July 18, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born October 10, 1910 to Louis and Virginia Roso in Craig, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Irus Thomas, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and grandson Danny Pyle. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Pyle, sisters, Nora Smith and Dorothy Roso, granddaughter Cindy Sims, grandson Gordon Pyle and wife Gerry, great-grandkids, Tana Drennan and husband Josh, Jeffery Sims, Cassidy Sims, Gordie Pyle, Rory Loy and wife Taylor and Micah Legg and husband Chris, great-great grandson Cooper (Pooper) Legg and great-great granddaughters Marley Drennan and Iris Pyle. Her grandkids were the absolute light of her life as she was of theirs. She has been in our lives for so long we just thank God for all of the memories we have with her. She will be missed so, so much. Anna will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Saturday, July 21st at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The service will be included with the service for her grandson Danny Pyle who passed away April 1, 2012 in Blaine, MN.

Thomas Daniel Pyle (Danny) born June 29, 1962 in Oklahoma City passed away April 1, 2012 in Blaine, MN after a long battle with kidney disease. Preceded in death by his grandparents Rae and Earl Pyle, Irus Thomas and Dad Frank Pyle. Survived by his Mom, Pat, sister Cindy, brother Gordon and wife Gerry, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces. Dan left OKC in 1979 to play hockey for Shattuck Prep School in Faribault, MN then played for Bemidji State Univ. where he met Robin Walcker and settled in Blaine. Dan loved camping, riding his Harley, and above all, Bemidji State Hockey. He will be laid to rest at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 21 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with his Grandmother, Emma Thomas who died July 18.
