

Frances was born October 29, 1917, in Oklahoma City, Ok. She was
preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, L.M. Stone, her parents
Joe and Sarah Russell and her sister, Virginia Toler. Frances graduated
from Central High School and worked during the war at Douglas Air Force
Base helping make planes during WWII. She later worked at various offices
in law, Board of Education, and the Municipal Government in the Mayor's
office, City Manager's and finally Executive Secretary in the Traffic Control
office. She enjoyed collecting sea shells, sewing, music (esp. big band
and jazz) and reading, but mostly being with her family. Frances is survived
by her daughter, Ginger Penn and son-in-law Michael Penn of Okla. City;
her granddaughter and her family, Laurie and Dr. Chris Miller, great-grandchildren,
Michael and Lindy Miller (Richardson, Texas) and her grandson and his family,
Drs. Dustin Penn and Sarah Zala and great grandchildren, Maya and Zoe Penn
(Vienna, Austria), her niece, SaraJo Tomasek and husband, Tommy Tomasek,
and great niece JoAnn and her husband, Rio Marcantonio and nephew,
James Toler and his wife, Suzanne, (all of Texas) niece, Sherrylynn Frederick
and her family (Bloomington, IL)and nephew Terry Stone and his family (Beaufort, S.C.)
