Frank Lee Patterson

Frank L. Patterson, 83, passed away at his home surrounded by family on 1/4/2016. He was born, raised and spent his life in OKC, graduating from Northeast High School in 1951. He was a 3 year letterman in football, earning All City honors, later serving in the US Navy. He married Nila Krick in 1959 and they raised five children in Bethany, OK, later retiring from AT&T/Lucent. He was preceded in death by his parents, L. C. and Frances Patterson and his wife Nila, whom passed unexpectedly in 1992. He is survived by his children, Nick (JoAnn), Rob (SuzAnne), Mike (Toni), Penny and Scott (Lynn), all of the OKC area; along with grandchildren Jennifer (Michael), Nick and Connor; Tony, Cari and Nicole (Chris); Michael and Jake; and Dillon and Dean; along with his great grandchildren, Lily, Brody, Parker and Quinn; his sister, Patricia Hamilton; and brother, Harry Patterson and their families. The family appreciates the incredible care Penny provided in the past few years, along with the Ross Hospice staff. Dad instilled a great work ethic and good values to his family and was involved in all of his children and grandchildren’s activities and sports. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his dogs, and family gatherings, rarely missing an event. He will be missed dearly by his entire family. Funeral services will be 12:00pm, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
