George Paul Michael Jr.

April 11, 1966 - March 20, 2025

George "Paul" Michael Jr., age 58 passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born on the 11th of April, 1966 at Harris Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his father George Paul Michael, Sr. and is survived by his mother Betty Rue Michael of Norman, Oklahoma, his sisters, Stephanie Valdez and her husband Eddie and Susan Lathrop and her husband Tony of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, his Uncle Jimmy RB Jones and Carol Roberts, cousin Lesli Jones and her daughters Mia and Kiki, cousin Stephen Jones and his daughter, and his cousin Jeff Jones.

Growing up, he attended schools in Texas, Minnesota, and Oklahoma. After graduating from Norman High School, he graduated in December of 1988 from the University of Oklahoma- where he majored in Political Science- with a Bachelor of Arts. While at OU, he pledged Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and when he later moved to Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, he was a member of the OKC Bachelors Club.

He enjoyed a successful business career with Shelter Insurance Companies since 1992- earning Conference of Champions and Millionaire trips with the company.

He will be greatly missed by many.

He loved to travel, had many friends, loved sports, and was a valued member of his community.

He had been a member of The First Christian Church in Norman, Oklahoma since 1978.
