Pappas, Geraldine (Jerry) was born on September 7, 1927, she passed away on September 22, 2010 after a battle with Alzheimer’s. Jerry graduated from Central High School in 1945 with honors and from the University of Oklahoma in 1949 with a degree in accounting. After graduation, she worked for Oklahoma Distributing Company for 4 years and the John E. Wolf Advertising for 3 years. In 1956, Jerry, along with her sister Doris, set up Pappas Bookkeeping and Tax Service which they ran until their retirement in 2003. Never was Jerry without a smile for everyone and if you really wanted to see her smile, mention O.U. football. Only the last few years was she unable to attend the games. Jerry is survived by her sister, Doris Pappas, who would personally like to thank the staff of Belleview Nursing Center and Suzanne Rowe of Mercy Hospice. Viewing will be Saturday thru Sunday until 6 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home with graveside services held at Fairlawn Cemetery, 2700 N. Shartel on Monday, September 27th at 11 a.m. Chaplain Duane Snavely will officiate.
