Gladys Taylor, 81, was born on June 29, 1929 in Medford, Oklahoma to Pete and Susie Reimer. Being raised on a farm Gladys had to milk the cows and separate the milk, clean the cow and chicken barns, and gather eggs on a daily basis. She lost her playmate at the age of four when her brother, John Marvin, died at two years of age. On June 11, 1954, at twenty-five years old, she married Curtis Taylor. Her proudest family moments were when her parents would take her and her brothers to the circus, on church picnics, to fair events, and to the lake to swim and ride canoes. Her favorite pasttime hobbies were garage sales, flower gardening, butterflies, and keeping photo albums of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Taylor, her parents, and her two brothers Herman and John Marvin Reimer. Surviving her in death are one son, Rick Taylor and his wife Judi of Midwest City, OK; two daughters, Sondra Lingo and her husband Stephen of Spencer, OK; Sheryl Gray and her husband Shawn of Del City, OK; one brother, Elmer Reimer of Enid, OK; four sisters, Lavera Towns; Martha Hedrick; Clara Neuman; and Laura Ball; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
