H. “Tommy” Stephens, 84, passed away September 23, 2012 in Sun City West, AZ. Tom was born December 5, 1927 in West Plains, MO. He attended Classen High School playing basketball and football on the first State Championship football team. He graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1949. He joined the family business, Stephens Products Co., in 1949 and retired in 1979. In 1993 he and Barbara, his wife of 63 years, moved to Sun City West, AZ where he and Barbara made many new friends. He enjoyed dinners with family and friends and loved to play golf as well as watching OU and NFL football. He was preceded in death by his parents W. A. “Bill” and Alta O. and younger brother Bill Jr. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jeanne Fulton and sons David and Mike (Vicki), daughter Amy, grandchildren Denise, Tina, Michael, Pamela, Rebecca, and brothers Jack, Carl, and Buddy Stephens. Services will be held September 29, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Chapel, 8701 NW Expressway at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City West, AZ.
