

Proverbs 22:4 says “Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.”
Harold was a truly joyful and humble man who deeply loved his Lord Jesus, his family and his Hawaiian steel guitar. Known to many people throughout the state for his unique ability to play his steel guitar in true Hawaiian style, Harold played many luaus and delighted people with his charm and music. He was perhaps better known to many as the ‘Aloha Man’ for his way of greeting people.
Harold went to college in Logan, UT and lived in San Diego during WWII. He married Naomi in San Diego and they returned to their OK roots to raise their family. He later started his own glass tinting business in Oklahoma City where he established a successful company and made many friends – not just customers – because of his high quality work and unquestioned honesty.
He was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on April 19, 1918 to Harold and Gertrude Boggs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi and three brothers: twin brother, Paul, and brothers Richard and Charles. He is survived by one sister, Jane Hastings of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by three children: son, Dalton (wife, Barbara) of Edmond, OK; son, Paul of Oklahoma City and daughter, Marsha Vann (husband, Dan), of Edmond, OK.
‘Granddaddy’ also leaves is legacy with his four beloved grandchildren: David Boggs and wife Gail of Louisville, KY; Jennifer Morland and husband, Bryan of Las Colinas, TX; Emily Baker and husband, Ryan, of Edmond, Ok and Natalie Brandenburg and husband, Phil, of Edmond, OK. Ten great-grandchildren also were blessed to know and love Harold as their special ‘Granddaddy’.
His absolute faith in Jesus’ love and His promised redemption carried him into eternity. John 14:6; I John 5:10-13 and Rev. 21:3-5 are special verses that comfort us in his absence.
“Aloha, Granddaddy…we’ll see you in the eternal paradise.”
