Helen Ray Beam, a 90-year-old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away on May 26, 2025, in her home. Born January 11, 1935, in Lindsay Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Thomas Williams and Pearl (Valier) Williams.
Helen was a devoted Christian who was a member of many church families through the years. She was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church, Henney Road Baptist Church, and most recently, Eastwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a part of all her church families and serving with the Ladies Ministries, Sunday School Teacher, VBS Teacher, Fall Festival Worker, Nursery Worker and Custodian.
Her favorite area to serve was always with the children. She especially loved helping with VBS and Nursery. She was the best at serving the children snacks and always came up with the most creative and fun crafts that all the children loved and of course loved on the babies in the nursery and making sure they felt loved and safe in the nursery while their parents were able to be part of the worship service without any distractions.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years James Allen Beam; siblings, Loren, Leon, Tommy, Bill, and Sue.
Survivors include her children, Michael Beam and wife Linda, Allen Beam and wife Penny, and Sherrie Davis and husband Stephen; grandchildren, Chris Beam and wife Mandi, Sharon Glazier and husband Chris, Craig Beam and wife Stephany, Stacie Evans and husband Chase, Nick Davis and wife Miriah, and Noah Davis; great grandchildren, Makynli Beam, Payton Beam, Collin Beam, Preston Beam, AnnaBelle Beam, and Remington Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Eastwood Baptist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
