Helen M. Mindt, 92, passed away on August 24, 2020. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Service and a celebration of Helen’s life will be held at 10am on Monday, August 31st at St. James Catholic Church in OKC. Interment will take place at 1pm on Monday at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
Helen was born to the Schneider family on October 2, 1927 in Pittsburg, KS. She married Ervin Mindt on June 17, 1972. She had one son, Bob Wills. Helen spent much of her life working as a clerk at a local abstract company. She was a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church in OKC. She enjoyed making and collecting ceramics. She loved animals, polka dancing, and watching the Lawrence Welk Show. Helen Mindt will truly be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of four decades Ervin Mindt, her son Bob Wills, an infant twin brother, as well as her sister Mary. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Wills, three grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
