Hugh Everett Miller, age 92, born June 11, 1921 in Webster City, Iowa , passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He married Helen McConnell on September 5, 1942. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII – flying many missions over Europe including on D-Day as a flight navigator. He lived in New York and Illinois before moving to Oklahoma in 1966. He was a Mason and Shriner throughout his life. He is survived by his son Hugh Miller and wife JoAnn, daughter Heather Cobb, Granddaughter Julia Gustafson and husband Kevin, grandson Craig Miller and wife Amy, granddaughter Ashley Cobb, great grandson Daniel Gustafson and wife Heidi, great grandson Drew Gustafson and great granddaughter Madison Miller. Also survived by 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Miller and 3 sisters. Services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial services with full military honor guard will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, OKC, OK. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
