Hugh Clayton Moore II, 60, passed away on May 28th, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of Hugh Clayton Moore I and Sandra Kaye Freeman Moore. He attended Carl Albert High School and graduated in 1980. He was employed at Tinker Air Force Base as an aerospace mechanic for 41 years. He enjoyed sitting with his cigarettes & black coffee and sharing stories with friends. He also enjoyed taking things apart just to figure out how they worked and tinkering on anything that had an engine. He will be remembered for his selflessness, unwavering commitment to helping others, and for being a beloved father, role model, and mentor to many. He is survived by his sister Jemmie Ruth Youngblood, his son Blake Clayton Moore, and their beloved canine companion Houdini. He was predeceased by his grandparents, his mother and father, and his sister Leslie Loraine Moore. The memorial service will be held on Monday June 6th, 2022 at 10AM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73165, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday June 3rd, 2022 from 4PM to 8PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the American Kidney Fund or American Heart Association in Hugh’s honor.
