He is preceded by his grandparents, Jack and Judy Hodges, and aunt, Debbie Chambers Smith. He is survived by his wife, Loni Chambers, his daughters, Lainey Marquez (13), Linlee Marquez (9) and Livia Chambers (17 months), his mother and stepfather, Joani and Steve Olson, and father, David Chambers, grandparents, Dewey and Barbara Chambers, sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Adam Fields, sister, Erin Olson, brother, Jared Chambers, brother, Samuel Chambers, sister, Kristie Young, and niece, Rylee Young and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jack started young and ultimately followed in his family’s footsteps by becoming a truck driver. There wasn’t anything Jack couldn’t haul or a machine he couldn’t fix. A skilled mechanic, Jack loved working on motors. His other talents included painting, remodeling, grill master and movie quoting genius.
Jack spent his days keeping up with a houseful of girls and did so with much love and joy. Most days ended with Livia “Yaya” next to him in his chair, snuggled up, wearing his ball cap. Jack was a kind, caring, sensitive guy with a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Even when he was struggling, he had a smile that could light up a room. Jack was often referred to as a “Gentle Giant.” All animals loved him and he loved all animals. He grew a beard that most men would envy. Jack had the biggest heart along with a bright future and a beautiful family. Please surround his wife, children and family with your love and prayers. The best way to honor Jack is for people who read this or knew him to show compassion to someone struggling with addiction. He will be missed dearly by all of us.
