Jaime was born on January 27, 1977 to Connie Sue Taylor and Terry Haley. She was raised in the OKC area by Connie and her husband Jon. Due to special needs, Jaime was blessed to spend the majority of her childhood and young adult years living with remarkable caregivers at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley, OK. In 2013 she relocated to Oklahoma City to a small group home with 3-4 roommates. Jaime was a happy girl with a bright smile. She enjoyed listening to music and enjoyed having family and friends come visit her. Jaime brought such joy to those around her and was truly a blessing to all who knew her.
Jaime’s family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff of caregivers who made sure each day of Jaime’s life was pleasant and filled with kindness and love. A special thanks to Shelia, Patricia, Janelle, and Renee for the many years you have devoted to caring for Jaime and for loving her like your own daughter.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. She is survived by her parent: Connie and Jon Sterling of OKC; a brother Terry Haley and fiancé Danielle Gates of OKC; two Step-brothers: Richard Sterling and wife Yvette of Glencoe and Tim Sterling of OKC; a niece Jaime Renee Haley and a nephew Jonathan Layne Haley.
