Jim Day, 73 year-old resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away on November 22, 2011 in Midwest City, OK. Born August 14, 1938 in Emida, ID, he was the son of John William Day and Hazel Bremmyer Day. Jim was a retired auto mechanic. He loved to help his wife make quilts and playing computer games. Jim loved working at H&R Block after retiring from fixing cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Day; one grandson, G-man Richardson; and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Linda Day of the home; two daughters, Dorothy Day and Denise Castro, both of Midwest City, OK; two sisters, Marie Morrison of Cashmere, WA; Bonnie Pourebek of Billings, MT; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Midwest City, OK, with Chaplain Richard Chew officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
