

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. James enjoyed John Wayne movies, gardening, raising pigs, bowling, and absolutely everything John Deer. He loved his family dearly and his grandbabies gave him such great joy.
James was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Angel Robert Hancock, Maddie Hancock; sisters, Charlene Tretter and June Johnson. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Teresa; children, Jamie Switzer, D.J. Keene (James), Bryan Rhoades, Jeffery Rhoades (Melissa), Alisha Hancock-Brown (Russ); his mother-in-law, Christine Bravens, grandchildren, Dakota, Zoee, Johnathan, Michelle, Jacob, Genesis, Alexus, Kenadie, Zachary, Zealena, Ryan, Rebekah; great-granddaughter, Blakelee; siblings, Jon Switzer (Shirley), Bill Switzer (Chris), Susie McBee (Albert), Jeffery Switzer (Joyce).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Military honors will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneralhome.com
