Janet Elizabeth Mayo died October 10, 2022, after a short illness. She was the daughter of Ross and Helene Mayo, both of whom predeceased her. Janet loved her family including her nieces. Her wit and blunt honesty in all things brought a touch of humor in her conversations. You knew never to ask Janet a question if you did not want an honest answer. Her love of a pop was well known. She could be persuaded to do what you wanted if you gave her a pop. Her wants were few but when she was asked what she wanted you knew you would get a list. Our favorite was her sweet smile when she really liked something. When you would tell her you loved her, she would always say, I know. She lived her life honestly with what she was given and will be so very missed.
Janet is survived by sister, Suzanne M. Rogers, Edmond, nieces Amy Easley, Keller, Texas, and Michele Canode, Huger, South Carolina, grandniece Payton Easley and grandnephews Cole Canode and Preston Easley.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
