

Jeffie “Jackie” Chapman passed from this life on Oct 28, 2018 in OKC. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service and a service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, Nov 1st, 2018 at 3pm at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens mausoleum on NW EXPY between Council and County Line Rd.
Jackie was born on May 26, 1933 in St. Louis, OK to Otto and Ellen (Hatler) Nugent. She spent many of her younger years in Mayesville, OK, but she graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, OK. Following school she began working in the neo-natal department at St. Anthony’s Hospital in OKC. In the mid 1960’s she met and Married the love of her life, Jack Chapman.
Jackie worked at several local oil companies before accepting a job with Continental Emsco where she served as a administrative secretary. Jackie spent several years living and working in Venezuela before the company was bought out by L.T.V. causing Jackie to be transferred to Wichita Falls, TX. In the mid 1980’s Jackie and Jack retired for good and chose to make Moore, OK their home. Jack passed away in the late 2000’s and Jackie spent most of her time quietly caring for her pets and enjoying pleasant conversations and friendship with her close group of neighbors.
Jackie was a loving wife, a caring sister, and a trusted friend who will truly be missed by those she knew and loved. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack Chapman; three sisters: Helen Avery, Ruby Manning, and Florene Willingham. She is survived by her sister June Potter; four nieces: Kim Bane, Kelli Michael, Karla Mitchell, and Sandy Willingham; two nephews: Randy Willingham and Charles Pierce. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
