Jerome "Jerry" Williams

Jerome "Jerry" Williams, age 97, of Jones, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Jerry was born August 24, 1924 in Eagletown, Oklahoma to James Dodson & Martha Maggie Rosie Lee (Boyd) Williams.

Jerry worked as a school bus driver for Jones public schools. When Jerry was not working his favorite past times were hunting, traveling, and fishing. Jerry enjoyed summer every year and going to his lake house in Arkansas.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Abbott & husband Roger; and his daughter, Deliala Kaye Cothran & husband Larry.

Jerry was preceded in death by his spouse, Dora (Whisenhunt) Williams whom he married on December 26, 1944; his son, Timothy Lawrence Williams; his parents, James Dodson & Martha Maggie Rosie Lee (Boyd) Williams; his brother, Edker Williams; his brother, Melvin Williams; his brother, Albert Williams; his sister, Bessie Romines; his sister, Nora Jones; his sister, Dorie Williams; his sister, Irene Cresman and his sister, Leitha Smith.

Mr. Williams also leaves 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Jerry will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2022 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Jones IOOF Cemetery, N. Hiwassee Road, Jones, OK 73049.
