Joan Baggett age 80 passed away on October 16, 2021 in Midwest city, Oklahoma. She was the wife of Clifford E Baggett and they shared 61 years of marriage together. Joan was born in Ada Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John B Throckmorton and Tydifil Throckmorton. She graduated from high school in Garden City, Kansas where she was raised. She was the HR Administrator for the Oklahoma County Assessors Office.
She was a member of the Southwest church of Christ. She was known as a great cook, she loved watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and OU Sooners football. She had a great love for music and years ago was a member of the Sweet Adeline‘s. She loved her grandchildren and will be known most as a doating grandma. Her grandchildren were her whole world and was the happiest when she was with them. Her favorite time of the year was Thanksgiving and Christmas when she could be with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sisters Mary Ann Sloan and Karen Susie Ward and by her husband Cliff Baggett and by her son Kyle Baggett and his wife Julie Baggett and their son Utah Baggett and her daughter Stacey Huff and her son Daniel Huff and his wife Sarah Huff and their two great grandchildren Adaline and Will.
The funeral service for Joan Baggett is currently pending.
Joan will be laid to rest in Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, Oklahoma 73538.
