

John W. Iley, 79 year-old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away April 13, 2014 in Harrah, Oklahoma. Born May 4, 1934, he was the son of Herbert E. Iley and Lela Morree Blackwood Iley. John was a longtime mechanic proudly working for many years at Tinker Air Force Base on the vehicles on the base. He loved tractors; smoking his pipe with cherry tobacco; and spending time with his family over meals, etc. He was married to the “Love of his life” Nina for over 53 years. John was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother and 1 sister. Survivors include his wife, Nina Iley of the home; 1 son, Brian and his wife Kim Iley of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Brenda and her husband James Calhoun of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Becky Armstrong of Midwest City, Oklahoma; 5 grandsons; 2 great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery near Seminole, Oklahoma.
