Jolene grew up in Orange California graduating from El Modena High school. After High School she became a wife, mother and loving friend. She became known by her sense of humor, her love for playing games and her cooking. She had a special place in her heart for loving on people through feeding them. She leveraged this talent in her professional life, becoming a restaurant manager. Even after becoming too ill to work, she centered her life around inviting and feeding her family and friends. Camping, holidays, birthdays you name it. She was going to invite anyone and everyone she could to come and eat. Today we'll have a meal together in honor of this passion and love for her family. Jolene believed family was everything in fact even having that tattooed on her arm for the world to see. "Family is everything"
More than anything Joe loved her grandkids. She shared her talents with them as often as possible. Together they went camping, traveled, and played games like Yahtzee and cards. They made beads and jewelry, baked clay, made crafts and doll clothes, and of course cookies. Grandma Joe enjoyed most of all the time they spent together, loving each child for the unique and special person that they are was important to her.
Jolene will truly be missed!
