Judy Lorraine Hopkins, born on September 20, 1949, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at her home in Harrah Oklahoma surrounded by family. She was born to W.D. Streeter and Jesse Lorraine Streeter and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Freddie Hopkins; her sisters, Edna Inman and Donna Twigs; and her parents. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children: Tony Inman, Tracy Beyer, and Tisha Sherrell.
She was a proud grandmother to Casey Gilchrist, Dakota Inman, Cayla Seawright, Talon Unruh, Gauge Inman, Codi Beyer, Taron Unruh, Tanna Unruh, and Justin Sherrell, and a cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren. Each of them was the light of her life.
Judy was known for her strong work ethic and caring heart. She retired from Hospice Care so she could devote herself to caring for her great-grandchildren, a role she treasured deeply. She made sure her family always had a place to stay and knew they were welcome at her home. Her house was always kept just the way she liked it, neat, orderly, and ready for visitors. (Don’t touch her for show towels or lean back in her chairs!) She loved hosting grandkid sleepovers, where “Granny’s Delights” were always on the menu and scary movies always played.
Judy loved the holidays and loved having her family all in one place. Easter wasn’t complete without her famous bunny cake, which brought laughter every year as the family teased about its appearance. Her kitchen was filled with love, and her recipes of Thanksgiving stuffing, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and tacos will continue to bring comfort to her family for generations.
Judy had a deep love for animals, whether it was spoiling her own dogs or caring for an injured animal she found. She spoke her mind, stood her ground, and loved fiercely. You could often find her watching Newsmax, sitting in her recliner, waiting for her next visitor to walk through the door, with her dog Eddie right in her lap. Judy lived for her family, and her memory will live on in the traditions she created the meals she shared, and the love she gave so freely and deeply.
Her funeral service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home on February 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
