

Kim will be lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 63 years, Bác sỹ NguyễnlêHiếu; children BaoLien (Quang), BaoLoan, BaoLan (Goya) and BaoLong (Ladaovanh); grandchildren (Alex, Nicholas, Zachary, Makiyah, Maya, Dylan, Connor, Aidan, Kaili, Lauren, and Madison); sister Bình (Thúy) Nguyễn, brother Quy (Mireille) Ðỗ Ðăng, brother An (Sương) Ðỗ Ðăng, brother Hoàn (Ngoc) Ðỗ Ðăng, sister Lan Ðỗ as well as numerous relatives and friends.
KimKhanh, Kim to her friends, was born on January 26, 1937, in Thái - Bình, Việt Nam, to Dr. Ðỗ Ðăng Phan and Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Mỹ. She had a carefree childhood with her eight siblings, first in the countryside of Thái-Bình, then later on in HàNội. In 1954, Kim's family relocated to Saigon, and in 1960, Kim married her middle school sweetheart, Hiếu. She finished pharmacy school in 1968 and worked as a pharmaceutical representative in VietNam. In 1975, Hiếu and Kim and their extended family immigrated to the United States. The couple, their parents, and four children settled down in Nebraska. Kim went back to school to become a registered pharmacist in the US. She opened a pharmacy in the small town of Shelton, Nebraska, and was well-loved in the community for her kindness and generosity. She even won the Woman of Color award in Nebraska.
Throughout her life, Kim was a loving wife, a dutiful daughter-in-law, an affectionate mother, and a doting grandmother.
A family service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., OKC. Public visitation will be from 10 am - 12 pm.
