Kitty Jeane Keith

She received her masters degee from Michigan State. During her life, Kitty lived in Oklahoma City, Nevada, California, and England, and she returned to Oklahoma City in 1995.

One thing that Kitty would enjoy doing in her spare time would be to curl up in bed with a book and a glass of scotch. She had a passion for reading and passed that on to her children. She was a great Mom to her children. Kitty also enjoyed crocheting, watching documentaries, history and animals.

Kitty was also a great teacher. She was the entire reading department at Putnam City High School and helped many teenagers with learning disabilities.

Kitty married Charles Stanley in April 1979 and they divorced in 1995. He resides in Seattle, Washington.

Kitty was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City, OK.

Kitty is survived by son Gideon and spouse Hien of Oklahoma City; daughter Miriam of Seattle, Washington; step-daughter Rebecca of Palo Alto, California; step son Joshua of Concord, California; brother Richard and spouse Debbie of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren Xander and Amila; nephews Jared and Clayton; and her dog Harley.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

A service to celebrate Kitty’s life will be Friday, November 15, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
