

Kyle C. James, 20 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born February 24, 1992 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Larry Douglas James and Dnaydavina James. Kyle was a college student majoring in psychology and had also worked at Wal-Mart. He loved traveling; playing video games; listening to music on his IPod; and hanging out with his friends. Kyle had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger in his life, everyone was a friend he had just met. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Manuel James; and both of his maternal grandfathers, Chet Pulford and Gene Short. Survivors include his father, Larry James of Millerton, Oklahoma; his mother, Dnaydavina James of Midwest City, Oklahoma; his sister, Jessica James of Norman, Oklahoma; his paternal grandmother, Wilma James of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Bobbie Short of Sherwood, Oregon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2012 at Soldier Creek Baptist Church, 9020 SE 15th St., Midwest City, Oklahoma with Reverend Jim White officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, Oklahoma.
