Larry James Hallman

Larry grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended Moore High School. He began his career in the electrical field but soon discovered that his true passion was in music. This passion led him into a lifelong career as a roadie and crew member, where he worked with numerous local bands as well as national acts touring through Oklahoma. Known for his dedication, humor, and tireless work ethic, Larry was a beloved fixture in the local music scene and a trusted friend to many musicians who passed through the state.

Larry’s love for music, his quiet generosity, and his steady presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and the Oklahoma music community he called home.

He is survived by his three sisters, Joyce Hicks, Linda (Jim) LaFevers and Nancy (Mark) Bates as well as nephew Ryan Bates, niece Heather (Casey) Leonard, and nephew Timothy (Ashley) Hallman and his great niece Sofia Hallman and two great nephews, Elliot Leonard and Samson Hallman and other beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Freda Hallman and brother-in-law, Donald Hicks.

Arrangements for a private family memorial will be shared at a later time. His final resting place will be at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker, OK.
