Leona Beatrice (Wheeler) Clymer, age 84, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Leona was born March 10, 1937 in Ashland, Kentucky. A come & go visitation for Leona will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A burial will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. Leona Beatrice Clymer, 84, passed from this life on October 31, 2021 at home with family by her side. She was the wife of Clinton Clymer. They shared 26 years of marriage together. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Okie Elmer and Ada Mae Wheeler. She attended schools in Oklahoma City. She served in the food service industry in several different capacities. She enjoyed dancing, watching westerns and Hallmark movies, cooking for family on holidays and special occasions. She also enjoyed adult coloring books, word search and playing Yahtzee. She cherished spending time with her family and spoiling her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be remembered as the most kind, loving, generous wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Clymer and is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dana and Laura Flowers, daughter, Brenda Loyd, stepson and his wife, Danny & Helen Clymer, stepdaughter Cindy and her husband Kyle Shutt, five grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Beverly Cherry, Carolyn Moseley, Kenneth Wheeler and Sandra Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her father, Okie Elmer Wheeler, mother, Ada Mae Wheeler, brother Donald Ray Wheeler, sisters, Ada Cloteen Wheeler, Betty Knapp, Phyllis Young, Ruby Ross and Deanna Lewis.
