Born on June 20th, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Linda’s nurturing spirit extended to her only child, Cathy Bass, and her furry companions. Linda’s home was always filled with the pitter-patter of paws and the laughter of her daughter and son-in-law, Brian Mcclung. She rescued lots of dogs and cats over the years.
She was also a grandmother to her three grandsons: Corey Bass, Dakota Bass, and Tyler Bass.
Linda instilled her strong values and religious beliefs in her family and friends. Her home was a haven of prayer and support, not only for her child but for countless others in need of guidance and comfort. She helped people by offering them a place to stay or just being there in any way she could. She was very glad to be able to help people and pets out in their time of need.
Some of Linda’s favorite things to make were chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate fudge was also a delicacy—so were those cookies. She was known for “Yummy Yummy.”
Linda passed away from natural causes, but she also had many different medical problems, including lymphedema, heart murmur, scoliosis, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, and chronic kidney disease stage 3. Linda was also a loving homemaker, and she dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home.
Her husband of almost 45 years, Paul Joseph Ricciotti, preceded her in death on March 31st, 2023, at the age of 71. They were married 45 years before he passed away.
Linda was a very kind and caring, beautiful soul. She was at peace on August 28th, 2025, when she passed away in prayer with the hospice chaplain, Pete.
You will be dearly missed and loved until we meet again. Mom, I love you.
She is survived by Cathy Bass, Brian Mcclung, and her grandsons: Corey Bass, Dakota Bass, and Tyler Bass. She is also survived by her brothers Jim Minor and Larry Minor; her sisters Cindy Nuckolls, Susan Lundy, and Carolyn Caldwell; a longtime very close family friend of 45 years; and lots of other family and friends.
